Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili opened a new five-star hotel "Radisson Blue" in Batumi on Wednesday, which was built on territory of old boulevard.

"We're smart and talented people and we can do everything, leave whimperers whining, but we have to work hard," the president said. He congratulated people with the purchase of a new and beautiful object, which makes Batumi more beautiful.

Saakashvili thanked the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Kazakh partners, also Georgian company "Silk Road", which carried out the project.

"Thanks to Nazarbayev, who at the time of beginning of construction was here and had contributed to this project," he said.

The project cost $ 60 million.
