President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today reviewed the newly reconstructed Mikayil Aliyev Street in the Nizami district, Baku.
Chairman of Azeravtoyol OJSC, Saleh Mammadov informed the president about the reconstruction work.
The president was informed that a 2 kilometers long system was built in the street that will carry rainwater to sewerage.
The four and six lane road, which is 2,800 meters in length, was covered with new asphalt.
New lighting system and pavements were installed along the street.
President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the Chobanzade Street in the Nizami district was also reconstructed.
The 2,340 kilometers long street was covered with new asphalt and new bus stations were installed there.
The reconstruction of the Nakhchivani Street was also completed. The width of the 840 meters long street was extended up to 9 meters. New asphalt and concrete cover was laid there.
