MEMBERS OF �AZADLIG’ BLOC MEET WITH DEPUTY CHIEF OF BAKU CPD

The members of �Azadlig’ election bloc met with Yashar Aliyev, the deputy chief of the Central Police Department (CPD) of Baku city, on Friday, Trend reports.

Aliyev said that attending the meeting were Mammad Zeynalov, Yeni Musavat Party, Rashid Mansurov, the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan, and Ilham Husseynli, the Popular Fronf of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP-reformers). The members of the bloc were warned about to the rally to be held on 1 October. “We recommended them not to overstep the route determined by

the Baku Executive Power. Otherwise, the police will take all appropriate measures to prevent violation of law. If any confrontation takes place, �Azadlig’ bloc will be responsibility for it,” he underlined. According to Aliyev, the members of the bloc did not express any concrete attitude to the warning.

It should be mentioned that �Azadlig’ bloc insisted on holding of the rally around Jafar Jabbarli’s monument near 28 May underground station on 1 October, while the Baku Executive Power determined Galaba square as the place for holding of the action.
