The agreement on cooperation was signed on October 2005 between the Parliaments of Azerbaijan and Latvia in Strasburg.
The agreement from the Azerbaijani side was signed by the head of the Azerbaijan’s Parliamentary delegation to PACE Samed Seyidov, from the Latvian side - by the Latvian
Seym chairman on European issues Oscars Kastens, a Trend special correspondent from Strasburg reports.
Samed Seyidov said Azerbaijan is a member of the Council of Europe for over 5 years and took serious steps for integration into the European Union.
В"Latvia is the PACE member for over 10 years and has a large experience in this issue. Azerbaijan may use this experience”, Samed Seyidov said.
It should be noted, signing of the document took place in the presence of delegations from Armenia and Georgia.
