The representatives of the opposition won in the 6 November elections must participate in the work of Parliament,” Ilyas Ismayilov, the chairman of the Justice Party, told Trend.

Touching upon the refusal of the representatives of the election blocs National unity’ and Azadlig’ (Freedom) from the mandate, Ismayilov stressed that the candidate must take into consideration the trust of the electorate. “The citizens voted for them and they must justify the trust. If the candidates are elected, they must participate in the work of Parliament, but everyone has a right of choice and nobody can force him to change his opinion. If they intend to refuse from the deputy mandate, it is their own business,” Ismayilov stressed.
