From 19 through 23 December URAL (EX-NOVO) average price, sold by Azerbaijan in Novorossiysk port, was $48.93 per barrel or rose $4.12 barrel as compared to the last week (12 - 16 Dec), Trend reports

URAL(EX-NOVO) maximal price comprised $49.32 on 22 December, or $4.60 a barrel more as compared to last week (15 December), minimal one - $48.39 on 21 December, or $3.18 down as compared to last week (16 December).

Brent average price (DTD) was $56.43 per barrel (rose $2.69 per barrel). Brent maximal price comprised $57.40 on 22 December, or $2.64 per barrel up as compared to last week. Minimal price of Brent was $55.79 on 19 December, or $2.25 per barrel as compared to last week (16 December).

URAL (EX-NOVO) was cheaper than Brent by $7.50 per barrel last week, or $1.43 per barrel more than the average figure of last week.

In the first half-year of 2006 Azerbaijan plans to pump 2.4 million tons of Ural oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline (northern route), the reliable sources told Trend. The Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) has given a preliminary order to Transneft Joint Stock Company on the transportation of 1.2 million tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk route in the second quarter of 2006. In 2006 Azerbaijan will be able to pump 3.9 million tons of oil via the �northern route’. In the second half-year the transportation via the Baku-Novorossisyk route can be reached to 1.5 million tons, or 250,000 tons per month against 400,000 tons a month in the first half-year.
