Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec.30 / Trend, M.Aliyev /
Azerbaijani Education Ministry offers to grant deferment of military service to bachelors who enroll into magistracy.
Proposals have been prepared by the ministry to amend the law on the bases of call-up, Education Minister Misir Mardanov told Trend.
According to him, the proposals will suggest that until the candidates complete their education after enrolling into magistracy, they should not be called up for service.
At present, bachelors enrolled in the magistracy continue their education after starting military service.
Azerbaijan will amend the law on bases of call-up, member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Security and Defense Siyavush Novruzov had said earlier.
According to him, the law will reflect the issue of calling up individuals who are studying abroad as well as postgraduate students.
The current law was adopted in 1992.
