The Azerbaijani culture and tourism ministry and a number of tourism companies take part in Ferien Messe 2012 international tourism exhibition in Austria's capital, Vienna from Jan.12-15.
This is the first international tourism exhibition in 2012 that the ministry takes part in, the ministry told Trend on Thursday.
The stand with an area of 24 square meters was created to present Azerbaijan's tourism potential.
About 30 types of different advertising printed items in German, English and other introductory material will be given to visitors and participants of the exhibition
Azerbaijan has been taking part in Ferien Messe international exhibition since 2007. About 800 companies from 70 countries participate in the exhibition.
The culture and tourism ministry plans to take part in 21 international tourist exhibitions in 2012 to promote tourism, as well to attract tourists to Azerbaijan.
