A tender was announced in connection with the establishment of the registry and the winning company was determined, deputy chairman of the Commission on the Public Service under the President of Azerbaijan Vafadar Misirov said on Friday.
He noted that a new version of the registry will be prepared in the coming months, the authorities will be able to get information about state employees by entering the base.
So far, the registry contains information on approximately 20 thousand civil servants, he said.
Misirov said the authorities send information about the civil servants in the commission via e-mail, and sometimes there are mistakes.
"State agencies will be able to place information about public servants after the launch of the new database," vice-president of the Commission said.
Range of information about the civil servants on the register is defined by the law, he said. It includes information about the work record card and questionnaire of civil servants.
Misirov noted that civil servants themselves will also be able to read the information in the registry in the future.
"In case of any information change on civil servant, he may apply to the personnel department," he said.
