BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 6. The opponents of Azerbaijani wrestlers Hasrat Jafarov and Rafig Huseynov have been announced following the next day's draw for Greco-Roman wrestling competitions at the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games, Trend reports via Idman.biz.

Jafarov (67 kg) will go head-to-head with Mohamed El-Sayed, representing Egypt, on August 7, and Huseynov (87 kg) will lock horns with Hungarian David Losonczi on August 8.

Both of the athletes will enter the fray after the 1/8 finals.

To note, prior to that, Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers Murad Mammadov (60 kg), Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg), and Sabah Shariati (120 kg) threw their hats in the ring in Paris 2024.

Mammadov bit the dust in the first match, while Sanan made it to the semifinals, and Sabah will fight tooth and nail for the bronze medal.
