Azerbaijani State Committee on Affairs of Azerbaijanis Residing Abroad informed Trend that Vural Chengiz, Ex-President of the Assembly of American-Turkish Associations, is currently on visit to Baku.
Mr. Chengiz established the Institute of Azerbaijani Studies in the United States. The Charter of the new establishment has been developed and technical issues have been resolved. A relevant appeal has been sent to relevant bodies for the registration of the new organization. Mr. Chengiz is scheduled to meet with the chairman of the Azerbaijani State Committee on Affairs of Azerbaijanis Residing Abroad, Nazim Ibrahimov and media representatives.
