Azerbaijan’s PASHA Sigorta suspends client reception due to spike in COVID-19 cases

Azerbaijan’s PASHA Sigorta OJSC has suspended reception of its customers at its offices, Trend reports referring to the company.

The company had to take preventive measures due to a sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 infection cases in the country. In this regard, the reception of complaints and customer requests in the offices of the PASHA Sigorta insurance company was suspended.

“However, if the customer needs to visit the company office to resolve important and urgent requests, he/she needs to inform about the date and time of the visit in advance (one day),” the company said. “The client's application will be accepted by the company employee in accordance with the request.”

To express their complaints and proposals, the customers of the company can call *7000 or (051) 225 89 78 from 09:00 to 18:00 (GMT+4) on weekdays or contact via [email protected].

At the same time, complaints and inquiries can be sent to PASHA Sigorta through the company's official website, using online chat and chatBOT, as well as through the company's Facebook and Instagram pages.

PASHA Sigorta OJSC is a recognized leader in the Azerbaijani non-life insurance market. The authorized capital of the company is 50 million manat ($29 million). It renders the insurance services related to 36 voluntary and compulsory types of insurance to 300,000 corporate and individual clients.

The company collected insurance premiums in the amount of 150.2 million manat ($88.3 million) and paid the insurance indemnities in the amount of 52.8 million manat ($31.05 million) in 2019, ranking second among the domestic insurers.

Today, 21 insurance companies and one reinsurance company operate in Azerbaijan.
