By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:

The Turkish Paym.es payment system is planned to enter the Azerbaijani market in October 2021, Paym.es Co-Founder and CEO Sabrican Zaim told Trend.

According to him, Paym.es has been serving some companies in Azerbaijan for about a year.

“The possibilities of expanding acceptance of payments are also under consideration by the payment system,” Zaim said.

“We also aim to speed up the payment system’ entry into the Azerbaijani market, to increase the number of our business partners, as well as to boost the local sales and the export-import operations,” the CEO stressed.

Zaim pointed out that the system includes various methods of accepting payments.

“We accept payments via messaging apps, for B2B dealers, POS terminals, and in virtual format. We also accept payments for renting objects. Paym.es is Facebook's financial technology partner for EMEA (Europe, including Russia, the Middle East, and Africa). We’re going to fully integrate all our innovations and methods of accepting payments into the Azerbaijani market,” Zaim said.

“The entry of Paym.es into the Azerbaijani market will enable the population and business to safely pay for the services of both local and foreign partners,” said the CEO.

“Our solutions can handle accepting payments from businesses with a turnover of billions of USD. We will play an important role in regulating the existing market, first of all, the online exports,” said Zaim.
