Five different industrial enterprises are planned to be commissioned at Azerbaijan’s Aghdam Industrial Park [being built in Aghdam city liberated from Armenian occupation as a result of the 2020 second Karabakh war], Trend reports citing the Ministry of Economy.
According to the ministry, a total of five potential projects are currently being considered for the production of various types of synthetic carpets, uniforms, special and individual clothing, polymer products, special roofing, precast concrete products in the industrial park, which will create more than 1,100 new jobs.
The ministry also said that water pipes have been laid from the sub-artesian well to the social zone of the industrial park. On the territory of the park there is a container-type office, a hostel, a first-aid post, a shop, a pharmacy, a canteen, an asphalt road has been laid, and landscaping work has been done.
Solar panels are used to illuminate the territory of the industrial park.
Business representatives are showing great interest in the Aghdam Industrial Park, added the ministry.
