The fees for all types of insurance in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic decreased by 4.16 percent as of 2021 compared to 2020 up to about 8.5 million manat ($5 million), Trend reports citing a report of the State Statistics Committee of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to the report, the revenues obtained from voluntary insurance in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic exceeded 1.5 million manat ($882,352) while from compulsory insurance - 6.9 million manat ($4.05 million) in 2021 compared to 2020.
GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic increased by 2.4 percent as of 2021 compared to 2020, exceeding 3.01 billion manat ($1.8 billion). GDP per capita in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic increased by 3.4 percent compared to 2020 up to 6,524 manat ($3,837).
Moreover, the GDP of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic increased by 1.1 percent in 2020 compared to 2019 up to 2.9 billion manat ($1.7 billion).
