BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 22. The nominal incomes of the Azerbaijani population from January through April 2023 increased by 15 percent, or 3 billion manat ($1.7 billion) year-on-year, and reached 23.5 billion manat ($13.8 billion), Trend reports citing the preliminary data of State Statistics Committee.
According to the data, per capita income grew by 14.27 percent, or 290.1 manat ($170.6), during the specified period.
The figure of population's income growth after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 15.3 percent, or 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion) compared to the same period in 2022.
At the same time, per capita income rose by 14.6 percent, or 259.6 manat ($152).

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population in 2022 rose by 20.5 percent, or 11.7 billion manat ($6.8 billion) compared to 2021, and reached 68.9 billion manat ($40.5 billion). During this period, income per capita in Azerbaijan increased by 19.9 percent, or 1,134 manat ($667).
