BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. A digital substation and a control center of Azerishig OJSC are expected to be opened in Azerbaijan's Kalbajar, Trend reports.
According to the company, the opening of a new substation is expected in the near future.
The company noted that almost all substations built in the liberated territories, including Aghdam, Lachin, Shusha, Fuzuli and others, are digital.
"It is really hard to build the necessary infrastructure in Kalbajar due to relief complications. In the liberated territories, both military and civilian infrastructure facilities are provided with electricity. To date, five substations with a capacity of 35/0.4 kWh have been built and commissioned in Shusha," the company said.
The company reminded that Shusha city was provided with electricity on January 7, 2021, Khojavand and Jabrayil - on October 28, Gubadli city - on February 18, 2022, Zangilan - on March 3, Kalbajar - on June 17, and Lachin - on August 31.
