BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 29. The nominal effective exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat against foreign currencies was 95.5 points as of May 1, 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this is 1 point more on a monthly basis, 0.3 points higher compared to the beginning of 2023, and 4.3 points higher in comparison with May 1, 2022.
The real effective exchange rate of the manat on the first of May 2023 was 121.8 points.
This indicator decreased by 1.9 points compared to the indicator for April 1, 2023, and compared to the indicator for the beginning of 2023 and May 1, 2022, it increased by 0.5 and 5.9 points, respectively.
