BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. The volume of Azerbaijan's foreign trade operations in real terms increased by 5.1 percent compared to last year and reached $12.2 billion, Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan, export operations amounted to $8.2 billion and import operations - $4 billion.
Export of non-oil products increased by 23.2 percent in actual prices and by 19.2 percent in real terms, reaching $912.2 million.
The total GDP amounted to 40 billion manat ($23.5 billion), of which 22.7 billion manat ($13.3 billion) accounted for the non-oil and gas sector. Compared to last year, GDP grew by 0.1 percent in total terms, in the non-oil sector - by 3.1 percent.
