Chemical exports reduced from Türkiye to Iran

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 17. Chemical exports from Türkiye to Iran were reduced by 11.9 percent to $254.6 million from January through June 2023 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports.

According to the Turkish Ministry of Commerce, Türkiye reduced chemical exports to Iran by 19.9 percent to $45.1 million in June compared to the same month in 2022.

The export of chemicals from Türkiye decreased by 13.5 percent and amounted to $14.6 billion from January through June 2023 compared to the same period last year.

Meanwhile, Türkiye exported chemicals worth $2.4 million in June of this year, which is 25.3 percent less in comparison with June last year.

Türkiye exported chemicals worth $31.2 billion over the past 12 months (from June 2022 through June 2023).
