BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. A total of 1.5 million tons of cargo were transported from Germany to the ports of Türkiye from January through September 2023, Trend reports.
The data of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye shows that ships under the flag of Türkiye delivered 19,559 tons of cargo to German ports, and ships under the flags of other countries - 1.5 million tons.
In addition, ships under the flag of Germany delivered 806 tons of cargo to the ports of Türkiye during this period. Moreover, 103,720 tons of transit cargo were transported from Germany to Turkish ports from January through September 2023.
In general, Turkish ports received 32 million tons of cargo in September 2023.
Turkish ports received 292.6 million tons of cargo from January through September 2023.
Cargo received by ships under the Turkish flag amounted to 21.7 million tons from January through September 2023. Cargo transportation to Turkish ports by ships under the flags of other countries amounted to 270.8 million tons.
In addition, 51.7 million tons of transit cargo were transported from the ports of Türkiye from January through September 2023.
