BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 27. The number of registered real estate properties in Azerbaijan has been named, Trend reports.
The data of the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan shows that there is a positive trend in the field of state registration of real estate.
Some 373,647 statements of ownership of real estate were issued from January through September 2023, which is 43.8 percent more than in the same period of 2022.
Moreover, 58,314 or 15.6 percent of them are initially registered real estate properties and 315,333 or 84.4 percent are re-registered.
During the reporting period, 40,205 of the registered real estate properties were private residential and country houses, 72,566 were apartments, 252,405 were land plots, 2,374 were non-residential buildings, 5,487 were non-residential plots, 531 were property complexes, and 79 were multi-storey residential buildings. In addition, 76,359 registered real estate objects are located in Baku, and the rest are in the regions.
The state service noted that a technical inventory was carried out and technical passports of 300,179 real estate objects were compiled from January through September 2023, which is 47.7 percent more than in the same period last year.
In general, the number of mortgage contracts registered for nine months of 2023 increased by 19.6 percent and amounted to 61,393 year-on-year.
