BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 27. Azerbaijan exported 53,420 tons of propylene worth 120 AZN million ($70.6 million) to foreign countries from January through September 2023, Trend reports, referring to calculations based on the data of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In value terms, this amount smashes 2022's same-period indicators by 2.2 times and in quantitative terms, it stands 2.7 times greater.
In the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 50,590 tons (+2.8
times) worth 110 AZN million or $64.7 million (2.3 times more) to
Russia, 2,330 tons (+10 times) worth 5.3 AZN million or $3.1
million (+8 times) to Belarus, 376 tons (+19 times) worth 830 AZN
thousand or $488,235 (+17 times) to Uzbekistan, and 113.75 tons
(-93%) worth 140 AZN thousand or $82,352 (-96%) to Turkey.
Azerbaijan's propylene production from January through September
2023 amounted to 115,600 tons, which is 24.8 percent higher than in
the same period of 2022.
