BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. Private enterprises accounted for 90.7 percent of the overall construction activities in Baku from January through October 2023, Trend reports.
The data of the Baku City Statistics Department shows that construction and reconstruction projects accounted for 82.2 percent, major repairs – for 5.5 percent, current repairs – for 7.1 percent, and other construction activities – for 4.6 percent of total work.
In 2022, non-state enterprises accounted for 90.7 percent of the total construction carried out in Baku, while in 2021 - 90.1 percent.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, in 2022, the country produced construction materials worth 1.085 billion manat ($638.2 million), which is 12.5 percent more than in 2021.
Construction materials worth 871.8 million manat ($512.82 million) were manufactured in Azerbaijan in 2021, which was 80.6 percent higher than in 2020.
