Revenues on social insurance contributions increase in Azerbaijan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 8. Revenues on mandatory state social insurance contributions in Azerbaijan increased by 13.9 percent (565.2 million manat or $332.4 million) from January through November 2023 year-on-year and reached 4.6 billion manat ($2.7 billion), Trend reports.

The data of the State Tax Service under Azerbaijan's Economy Ministry shows that receipts from off-budget organizations increased by 15.8 percent year-on-year and amounted to 3 billion manat ($1.7 billion).

Revenues on unemployment insurance contributions increased by 15.2 percent over the year and amounted to 163.6 million manat ($96.2 million); revenues on off-budget organizations increased by 16.4 percent and amounted to 121.2 million manat ($71.2 million).

Receipts on contributions for compulsory medical insurance increased by 14.8 percent year-on-year and amounted to more than 842 million manat ($495.2 million); receipts for off-budget organizations increased by 17 percent and amounted to 593.3 million manat ($348.9 million).

Revenues on mandatory state social insurance contributions in Azerbaijan increased by 19.2 percent (737.8 million manat or $433.9 million) in 2022 year-on-year and reached 4.6 billion manat ($2.7 billion).
