The Tajik minister of industry and energy said that Iran and Tajikistan are as two strategic partners.
Gul Sherali told the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) on Saturday that 113 joint industrial and manufacturing units are currently being run by private sectors of the two countries.
He said that in this regard what is of utmost importance is the two countries' resolve for an all-out collaboration.
He described last year's trade between the two countries as satisfactory, and noted that Iranians were building dams and power plants in Tajikistan.
Trade between Iran and Tajikistan stood at $250 million in 2009, up 60 percent year on year.
