An economic and technical cooperation agreement has been signed today between the Georgian and Chinese governments, according to which China will allocate $9.5 million to Georgia.
From Georgia, the agreement was signed by the finance minister, while from China, it was signed by the deputy commerce minister, the Georgian Finance Ministry told Trend.
These funds are intended for agricultural development. In particular, they will be spent to implement program to support village mechanization.
In the near future, Georgia intends to purchase 2,000 tractors.
