Azerbaijan exported products totaling over $13.7 billion in 2020, which is 30 percent less compared to 2019, Trend reports on Jan.18 citing a report of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.
The share of the public sector in exports amounted to more than $6.8 billion, or 49.78 percent of the total export. At the same time, the private sector’s share in exports also was over $6.8 billion, or 49.77 percent of the total export. Individuals’ exports amounted to $61.5 million.
In total, Azerbaijan exported 3,045 and imported 7,515 goods, having conducted foreign trade operations with 183 partner countries. In 2020, most of all, Azerbaijan exported oil and petroleum products, electricity, fruits, and vegetables, as well as chemical products.
