Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 February / Trend / Azerbaijan obtained 877,204,000 cu.m of gas from various sources in January 2007, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said.
Some 557,841,000 cu.m of gas of this amount was obtained in the fields exploited by SOCAR and 319,363,000 cu.m of gas from a consortium of foreign companies.
Some 138,432,000 cu.m of gas from the volume obtained as a result of production by foreign companies is casing-head gas from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field and 180,931,000 cu.m is from the Shah Deniz field.
