Azerbaijan, Ganja, 30 March / corr. Trend / The installation of the electronic gas meters has been delayed this week in Ganja district of Azerbaijan, Agali Abdullayev, the Deputy Head of the Gas Department of Ganja said.
According to Abdullayev, the delay in installation of the meters is attributed to the fact that the meters produced by Goy Turk OJSC do not meet standards. "It makes it impossible to install meters," said Abdullayev and attributed it to the late delivery of the spare parts from France as well.
According to Abdullayev, once these problems are solved, the installation of the meters will be completed in September.
There are some 66,000 gas subscribers in Ganja at present. Aktrias, the subsidiary of French Gold Industry installs meters in Azerbaijan. The meters cost AZN115.
