Decreased oil prices will not impact social programs and international projects, Parliamentary Economic Policy Commission head Ziyad Samadzade said.
"The decrease will not impact social programs even at $50 per barrel. No international projects will be canceled," Samadzade said.
He said Azerbaijan has enough currency reserves to implement the programs.
Oil prices have been fixed at $70 in the Azerbaijani budget.
The oil prices will be reconsidered in May 2009.
"The oil prices were fixed at $70 per barrel. Oil prices may increase as developed countries take measures to recover their economies. It will lead to a rise in oil demand," Samadzade said.
