Azerigaz to improve gas supply in Baku

Azerigaz PU of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) laid more than 98,400 meters of gas pipelines of various diameters (underground and ground-based, low and medium pressure), SOCAR reported today

The new pipelines are laid in order to meet the needs of consumers, enhancing the supply of subscriber gas, prevent the loss of gas, increase the level of payments and ensure uninterrupted gas to consumers in accordance with the technological regime

More than 22,600 kilometers fall to Binagadi, roughly 24,600 meters - to Sabunchu and about 40,700 meters to Azizbekov district of total constructed gas pipelines in Baku in 2009. New gas pipelines were laid in other regions of Baku as well
