South Pars's 12th phase developed at 51 percent

Twelfth Phase of Iran's South Pars oil field is developed at 51 percent totally while project contractor predicts the phase 12 starts gas production next solar year (March 20, 2012), SHANA reported quoting the project manager of the South Pars gas field phase 12 at the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), Rasoul Fallahnejad

Despite western sanctions, 35 percent of phase 12 shore sector completed physically, he said

Creating offshore infrastructure of phase 12 has been improved immensely and 92 percent of pipe laying process has been completed.

It is expected that construction of phase 12 onshore platforms will be carried out according to plans, since 50.5 percent of Phase 12 onshore platforms are completed.

The Iranian official confirmed 57 percent of phase 12 excavation is completed. Currently 97 percent excavating of one oil well is completed.

Development of the South Pars gas field phase 12 is one of the largest ongoing projects of the Petropars Company.

Production capacity of the phase is equal to three other phases of the South Pars gas field.
