Iran has started exporting Euro-4 diesel to global markets, Mahmoud Taherizadeh, an official with the National Iranian oil products Distribution Company (NIOPDC), said.
Almost 184 million litres of diesel conforming to Euro-4 standard was exported through Mahshahr oil terminal, Persian Gulf, during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 20-July 20), Taherizadeh said, Mehr news agency reported Aug. 7.
Iran eyes to export 15 million cubic meters of diesel per day during the current fiscal year, Nasser Sajjadi, managing-director of the NIOPDC, said.
The country’s daily diesel export stood at nine million litres from March 20 to April Aug. 5, which indicates a rise by 200 percent compared to last fiscal year.
