Trend:
Preparatory work is underway at the Baku International Sea Trade Port for the installation of a "green" power plant, Agshin Bekirzade, Chairman of Azalternativenerji LLC under the State Agency for Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, told Trend.
According to the Chairman, the wind force is currently being measured at the port. The work on measurements will last from six months to a year, after which, taking into account the wind force, a station with the proper parameters will be installed.
"Creating a "green" power station at the Baku International Sea Trade Port is not a short-term project, it demands a lot of time. First of all, an observation station will be installed at the port. Recommendations will be developed for the installation of a corresponding power station. So far, it is difficult to say something about the completion date of the work," Bekirzade said.
