BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Oil production in Azerbaijan amounted to 8.3 million tons (including gas condensate) from January through March 2022, Trend reports with reference to Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry.
At the same time, 5.3 million tons of oil were produced at the Azeri-Chirag-Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) block of fields, and 1.1 million tons of condensate at Shah Deniz.
According to the ministry, oil production together with the condensate of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) amounted to 1.9 million tons.
From the moment ACG and Shah Deniz fields were put into operation and until April 1, 2022, oil production (including condensate) amounted to more than 587 million tons.
Oil production from the ACG block of fields amounted to over 552 million tons, Shah Deniz - more than 35 million tons of condensate as of April 1.
