BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 16. The volume of electricity generated by the power stations of "Azerenergy" JSC from January to October 2022 was 21.4 billion kilowatt hours, including TPS (thermal power stations) - 20.07 billion kilowatt hours and HPS (hydroelectric power stations) - 1.3 billion kilowatt hours, Trend reports via the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.
"During the accounting period, the State Energy Service of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic generated 396.4 million kWh of electricity (TPS - 252.9 million kWh, HPS - 92.6 million kWh, SES (Sanitary and Epidemiological Station) - 50.9 million kWh), "Azerishig" JSC produced 55 million kWh at wind power stations, and 1,864 billion kWh at other power stations," said in a statement.
The generation of electricity from renewable sources of energy, including hydroelectric power stations, exceeded 1,755 billion kilowatt hours from January to October 2022.
