BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15. Türkiye received 5.2 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas via the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) as of December 1, 2022, Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy.

According to the ministry, the export of Azerbaijani gas to Europe over the reporting period amounted to 10.3 billion cubic meters, to Türkiye - 7.6 billion cubic meters, and the exports to Georgia – 2.2 billion cubic meters.

A total of 42.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan, up by 2.8 billion cubic meters (seven percent) on annual basis.

The ministry noted that 23 billion cubic meters were extracted from the Shah Deniz field and 12.2 billion cubic meters - from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field.

At the same time, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced 7.3 billion cubic meters.

Besides, according to the ministry, 20.1 billion cubic meters from the total volume of Azerbaijani gas produced were exported in the first 11 months of 2022, which is 19 percent more than in the same period last year.
