BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 29. Approximately 94,300 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), on May 29, Trend reports.
Of the mentioned volume, 13,500 tons will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.
The following goods are to be offered on this floor:
- Iranian Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 200 tons of heavy distillate, 150 tons of mazut, 60 tons of pentane and 30 tons of liquid nitrogen products;
- Shiraz Oil Refining Company’s 1,700 tons of methanol, 500 tons of unprocessed naphtha, 148 tons of solvent 404 products;
- Bistoon Petrochemical Company’s 100 tons of hydrocarbon products;
- Zagros Petrochemical Company’s 4,000 tons of methanol;
- Fannavaran Petrochemical Company’s 1,510 tons of methanol;
- Marjan Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of methanol;
- Kaveh Methanol Company’s 1,800 tons of methanol;
- Jam Petrochemical Company’s 300 tons of heavy distillate;
- Shazand Oil Refining Company’s 1,000 tons of normal hexane;
- Shazand Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of heavy distillate products.
Moreover, 80,700 tons of products will be on sale on international floor of the IRENEX:
- Iranian Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s 60,000 tons of light naphtha, 10,000 tons of distillation tower residue, and 10,100 tons of solvent 402 products;
- South Pars Gas Company’s 674 tons of light hydrocarbons.
Meanwhile, the value of total sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) amounted to approximately 17.8 trillion rials (about $39 million), during the last Iranian week (May 20 through May 24, 2023). This is a decrease of 94 percent, compared to the previous week (May 13 through May 17, 2023).
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold under the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 456,928 rials, and the price of $1 is 425,841 rials.
