BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Azerbaijan exported over 3.3 million tons of oil and petroleum products to Italy from January through April 2023, which is 36.4 percent of the total Azerbaijani exports of raw materials, Trend reports.
This indicator decreased by 23.12 percent year-on-year (by more than 1 million tons).
Azerbaijani exports of oil and petroleum products to Italy during the reporting period amounted to over $2.1 billion in terms of value, which is 30.7 percent less compared to the same period in 2022.
Azerbaijan exported about 9.2 million tons of oil and petroleum products from January through April 2022, which is 2.6 percent less in comparison with the same period last year (9.5 million tons).
In value terms, oil exports exceeded $5.7 billion, which is 12.7 percent, or $829.5 million less compared to the period from January through April 2022.
