BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. Azerbaijan exported almost 590 000 tons of crude oil and oil products to Türkiye from January through April 2023, which is 6.38 percent of the total export of oil from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
On an annualized basis, this figure increased by 4.3 times, or by 453,278 tons.
The cost of export of Azerbaijani oil and oil products to Türkiye in the indicated period amounted to $349.379 million. This is five times or $279.767 million more than in the same period in 2022.
In general, from January through April 2023, Azerbaijan exported about 9.236 million tons of oil and oil products, which is 2.6 percent less than in the previous year (9.5 million tons). The total value of oil exports amounted to more than $5.715 billion, which is 12.7 percent or $829,564 less than in January-April 2022.
