Iran puts up various hydrocarbon products on sale at IRENEX

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 20. A total of 12,800 tons of various hydrocarbon products are to be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on August 20, Trend reports.

The mentioned products are to be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered:

- Iranian Tabriz Oil Refining Company’s 8,470 tons of white oil;

- Shiraz Oil Refining Company’s 1,500 tons of iso-recycle;

- Esfahan Oil Refining Company’s 1,000 tons of iso-feed, 712 tons of solvent-502, 712 tons of solvent-503 and 148 tons of solvent-404 products;

- Mobin Petrochemical Company’s 300 tons of liquefied gas products.

Meanwhile, total sales at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) were approximately 41.6 trillion rials (about $101 million) during the last Iranian week (August 12 through August 16, 2023), representing a 12-percent increase compared to the preceding week (August 5 through August 9, 2023).

Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.

SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 449,548 rials and the price of $1 is 413,096 rials.

The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies as well as increase exports.
