BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 20. Overall, 174,000 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on September 20, Trend reports.
Of the mentioned volume, around 12,500 tons will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.
The following goods are to be offered:
- Iranian Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company’s 4,000 tons of pentane and 400 tons of normal butane products;
- Nouri Petrochemical Company’s 4,000 tons of heavy distillate;
- Bistoon Petrochemical Company’s 1,000 tons of solvent-402, 1,000 tons of solvent-502 and 1,000 tons of solvent-503 products;
- Kermanshah Oil Refining Company’s 1,000 tons of solvent-402;
- Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company’s 75 tons of liquid oxygen products.
At the same time, nearly 162,000 tons products will be on sale on the international floor of the IRENEX:
- Iranian Nouri Petrochemical Company’s 21,000 tons of Raffinate, 15,100 tons of heavy distillate and 10,000 tons of light naphtha products;
- Shazand Petrochemical Company’s 20,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG);
- Abadan Oil Refining Company’s 35,000 tons of diesel and 10,000 tons of LPG;
- Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s 15,200 tons of white oil;
- Kharg Petrochemical Company’s 10,000 tons of propane and butane gas;
- Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company’s 9,830 tons of hydrocarbons and 7,000 tonf of Raffinate products;
- Fannavaran Petrochemical Company’s 5,600 tons of methanol;
- Persian Gulf Bid-Boland Gas Refining Company’s 3,000 tons of pentane products.
Meanwhile, on Sept. 19, 2023, approximately 21,500 tons of products worth 5.6 trillion rials worth (about $13.6 million) were sold at IRENEX.
The products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) are sold at the SANA exchange rate.
The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 440,792 rials and the price of $1 is 412,139 rials.
The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies as well as increase exports.
