BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 5. Azerbaijan exported 656,520 tons of crude oil and oil products to Greece from January through November 2023, which is 2.71 percent of the total volume of raw materials exported from Azerbaijan, Trend reports, referring to the data of the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee.
Based on the committee's statistics, calculations reveal that this indicator climbed 2.41 times, or by 384,379 tons, on an annually basis.
During the specified time period, the value of Azerbaijani oil and oil products exported to Greece was $403.274 million. This is a 90.11 percent increase, or $191.146 million, over the same period in 2022.
From January to November 2023, Azerbaijan exported 24.199 million tons of oil and oil products, which is 0.49 percent less than the amount for the same time previous year (24.318 million tons). Oil exports hit $15.099 billion in value, which is 17.57 percent, or $3.218 billion, less than the total for the same period in 2022.
