ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, February 1. Türkiye imported about 87,147 tons of marine fuel from Turkmenistan from January through November 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Türkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), only in November of this year Türkiye imported 7,959 tons of marine fuel from Turkmenistan.
Furthermore, the previous time, Türkiye imported 210 tons of marine fuel from Turkmenistan (in September 2023).
Additionally, in 2022, Türkiye procured a total of 15,540 tons of marine fuel from Turkmenistan, marking an increase of over 7.5 times compared to the corresponding period in 2021 when the quantity stood at 2,060 tons.
Meanwhile, the growth of economic ties between Turkmenistan and Türkiye is a dynamic and strategically crucial development that mirrors the extensive economic connections between the two nations.
Both entities are actively broadening their trade alliances, enhancing their collaboration, and investigating new domains of mutually advantageous cooperation.
