On July 3 Asian Development Bank (ADB) is going to announce the consultant for technical assistance project on alternative power sources implementation in Azerbaijan. The bank officials told Trend that the short-list has already been drawn and the bank is talking to the bidders.
The grant agreement was signed May 26. ADB issued a $750k credit to compensate the consultants services within the project.
The project itself is proposed to take $40mln grant by ADB. $25 and $15mln of this credit will be issued on preferential and normal terms, respectively.
The main aim of the project is to provide regions with alternative power sources to maintain agricultural and other activity.
