Foreign citizens, who visited Azerbaijan in 2019, spent over 1.25 billion manat ($739,411) through bank cards, which is 1.8 percent less compared to 2018, stated in the Export Preview of country’s Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications, Trend reports on Jan. 29.
In December 2019, the volume of operations of foreign citizens made in the country through bank cards increased by 11.8 percent compared to December 2018, and amounted to 93 million manat.
In 2018, foreign citizens spent over 1.27 billion manat ($751,764) through bank cards in Azerbaijan.
