The U.S. State Department plans to sign a memorandum on their intention to cooperate in scientific research and development with the Institute of Cybernetics of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences, director of the institute, Telman Aliyev, told Trend .
The meeting with representatives of the U.S. State Department was held in July. Experts from the institute made a presentation on the monitoring system for forecasting and spoke about spheres in which the system is in use now.
The advantage of cooperation between the institute and the U.S. State Department in this sphere is the possibility to bring scientific developments onto a world level.
Aliyev said that the U.S. State Department is expected to pay its next visit in October.
