Program At-Large is preparing a document to regulate the registration of domain names, head of the Information Research Center Yashar Hajiyev told Trend.
According to Hajiyev, the final document will be submitted to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
"The document will reflect the opinions of members of At-Large on the regulation of issuance of domain names, with which, unfortunately, not everything is clear yet. Still the document is under discussion, involving the countries of Asian and European regions," Hajiyev said.
It is expected that the document will be submitted to ICANN during the conference, which will be held in March in San Francisco, and which is expected to be attended by the the Azerbaijani program At-Large. National Initiative At-Large will also represent the interests of the Azerbaijani Internet public in the second conference of ICANN, which will be held in June in Jordan.
Information Research Center received the formal approval of ICANN to implement the At-Large program in Azerbaijan in October 2010.
