Azerbaijan’s Azerfon LLC has suspended mobile communication services on AZAL airliners, a source told Trend.
Azerfon for the first time launched this service in early 2013, presenting the "Nar Air" tariff plan to its subscribers. Within this tariff, a minute of incoming and outgoing calls on board costs two manats.
Earlier, communication services on board aircraft were also suspended by another Azerbaijani operator Bakcell. The resumption of this service is still the subject of discussions with partners. No concrete agreements have been reached yet.
